We are still developing the the physical structure of the homes we intend to build. A high priority is to identify materials and a design which enable minimum energy use and slight impact on the natural environment. We are keen to incorporate permaculture principles and have undertaken some workshops on permaculture. Our cohousing project will have a range of homes from one bedroomed flats to three bedroomed houses. All residents will share common facilities such as the launderette, a community house where we will dine together at agreed regular times each week and we aim to have a space to grow vegetables, fruit and flowers.
